| dc.description | From the emission of the Law 617 from 2000, the country’s municipalities have adjusted their operating costs and improving their own arrangements, allowing them to improve their finances and consolidate its fiscal performance. Under these circumstances, social development should be benefited, because there are more resources to meet their huge social needs. | dc.description.abstract | A partir de la expedición de la Ley 617 de 2000, los municipios del país han venido ajustando sus gastos de funcionamiento y mejorando sus recaudos propios, lo que les ha permitido mejorar sus finanzas y consolidar su desempeño fiscal. En estas circunstancias, el desarrollo social debería verse beneficiado, por cuanto hay mayores recursos para atender sus ingentes necesidades sociales. De ahí, la importancia de realizar un estudio socio-fiscal donde se integren los resultados fiscales y sociales de los diferentes entes municipales. | es_CO |
