dc.description | The pervaporation cell is considered as the module where the mass transfer phenomena occur from the retentate in liquid phase to the permeate in vapor phase. This document allows to observe the behavior of the material transfer for the binary mixture isopropyl alcohol-water. The material flux of each component was calculated to make a comparison between them, in order to analyze the selectivity with the silica membrane. Finally, the molar flux obtained for the water was 0.0248 kmol/m2 h for a mixture with 15 % of water, which allows to establish that the inorganic membrane is selective to water. | es_CO |
| es_CO |
