dc.description | The effects of moisture content on the physical properties of two varieties of quinoa, 0301 and 0404 were studied through the elaboration of a drying kinetics. The physical properties studied include magnitudes of aerated and packed bulk density, sphericity and dimensions such as length, width and thickness. These physical properties were studied from initial moisture conditions delivered by the supplier 7.0779 % and 13.4517 % for the variety cGC and cTC respectively. It was evidenced that the behavior of the dimensions of the seed a long the drying time is different for each magnitude. The study of these properties with respect to the moisture content is transcendental for the industry in the processes of collection, handling and storage of the same. | es_CO |
dc.description.abstract | Los efectos del contenido de humedad en las propiedades físicas de dos variedades de quinua, cGC y cTC, fueron estudiados a través de la elaboración de una cinética de secado. Las propiedades físicas analizadas incluyen magnitudes de densidad aparente aireada y empacada, esfericidad y dimensiones. Estas propiedades físicas se estudiaron a partir de condiciones iniciales de humedad entregadas por el proveedor, 7.0779 % y 13.4517 % para las variedades cGC y cTC, respectivamente. Se evidenció que el comportamiento de las dimensiones de la semilla a lo largo del tiempo de secado es diferente para cada magnitud. El estudio de estas propiedades con respecto al contenido de humedad es trascendental para la industria en los procesos de recolección, manejo y almacenamiento. | es_CO |
