| Resumen: | El gas natural ha venido siendo un recurso energético importante en el siglo XXI, debido al auge por encontrar fuentes que ofrezcan capacidad energética sin generar un impacto negativo significativo. Es así como el gas natural cumple condiciones que permiten su utilización con facilidad en la generación de energía (eléctrica, automotriz, entre otras), como por ejemplo: la capacidad de comprimirse hasta mil veces su volumen o que, al hacer combustión, genere solamente CO2 y agua dejando por fuera componentes pesados como los deja el petróleo, el diésel o el carbón. |
| Abstract: | Natural gas has been an important energy resource in the 21st century, due to the boom in finding sources that offer energy capacity without generating a significant negative impact. This is how natural gas meets conditions that allow its use with ease in the generation of energy (electric, automotive, among others), such as: the ability to compress up to a thousand times its volume or, when combustion, generates only CO2 and water leaving out heavy components as they are left by oil, diesel or coal. |
