| dc.description | The need to improve the productivity of the wells in the Yaguará field, leads the operator, in this case ECOPETROL SA, to implement different treatments in the 2015-2017 campaign that improve the production of oil in several wells in the field, implementing appropriate operating processes to the enterprise. To execute these treatments, it was necessary to understand basic concepts about matrix stimulation and hydraulic fracturing. In addition to knowing the reason for its implementation, that is, why it was vital to make use of these in the Yaguará Field. The main reason for carrying out these works was the existence of formation damage present in wells Z and C. Due to the above, it was necessary to gather information from the Yaguará Field, its petrophysical characteristics, production history and stimulations in previous years, with the purpose of executing an analysis that would allow to identify if the stimulations implemented in the wells had the expected effect or, for on the contrary, unfavorable results were obtained in the increase of crude production. The respective analysis was made through nodal analysis in PROSPER software, productivity simulation models, and operational well reports. This allows us to identify the effectiveness of the treatments, compare expected versus obtained results, recognize the damage factor before and after the stimulation and, of course, quantify the productivity of the well after implementing the stimulations. | es_CO |
| dc.description.abstract | La necesidad de mejorar la productividad de los pozos en el Campo Yaguará, lleva a la operadora, en este caso ECOPETROL S.A a implementar distintos tratamientos en la campaña 2015-2017 que mejoren la producción de petróleo en diversos pozos del campo, implementando procesos operativos acordes a la empresa. Para ejecutar estos tratamientos, fue necesario comprender conceptos básicos acerca de estimulación matricial y fracturamiento hidráulico. Además de conocer la razón de su implementación, es decir, el por qué fue vital hacer uso de estos en el Campo Yaguará. La razón principal de llevar a cabo estos trabajos, fue la existencia de daño de formación presente en los pozos Z y C. Por lo anterior, fue necesario recopilar información del Campo Yaguará, de sus características petrofísicas, historial de producción y estimulaciones en años anteriores, con el propósito de ejecutar un análisis que permitiera identificar si las estimulaciones implementadas en los pozos tuvieron el efecto esperado o, por el contrario, se obtuvieron resultados desfavorables en el aumento de la producción de crudo. El respectivo análisis se hizo mediante análisis nodal en el software PROSPER, modelos de simulación de productividad, y reportes operacionales de los pozos. Esto permitiendo identificar la efectividad de los tratamientos, comparar resultados esperados vs obtenidos, reconocer el factor de daño antes y después de la estimulación y, por supuesto, cuantificar la productividad del pozo luego de implementar las estimulaciones. | es_CO |
