dc.description | The present work is a technical study of the method used to manage the relative permeability data since it is received from the laboratory until it is used in the reservoir simulator. Initially a review of the concepts related to relative permeability is made, then it is studied how the experimental conditions affect the result of the tests and criteria of validation of relative permeability curves obtained experimentally are proposed. The criteria mentioned above are applied to relative permeability data from three fields in the middle Magdalena Valley basin. Curves that do not meet these criteria are discarded and the curves that are maintained are considered valid and representative of the reservoir behavior. Subsequently, from workshops with experts in different simulators, the considerations that should be taken at the level of simulation with the relative permeability data are discussed, in addition, the aspects to be taken into account in the process of loading relative permeability data in the simulators. Similarly, the lessons learned are discussed and some recommendations made by the experts are presented. | es_CO |
dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo es un estudio técnico del método utilizado para manejo de la data de permeabilidad relativa desde que es recibida de laboratorio hasta su uso en el simulador de yacimientos. Inicialmente se hace un repaso de los conceptos relacionados con permeabilidad relativa, luego se estudia cómo las condiciones experimentales afectan el resultado de las pruebas y se proponen criterios de validación de curvas de permeabilidad relativa obtenidas experimentalmente. Se procede a aplicar los criterios mencionados previamente a datos de permeabilidad relativa provenientes de tres campos de la cuenca del valle medio del magdalena. Se descartan las curvas que no cumplen con dichos criterios y las curvas que se mantienen se consideran válidas y representativas del comportamiento en yacimiento. Posteriormente, a partir de talleres con expertos en diferentes simuladores, se tratan las consideraciones que se deben tener a nivel de simulación con los datos de permeabilidad relativa, además, los aspectos a tener en cuenta en el proceso de carga de datos de permeabilidad relativa en los simuladores. De igual manera se abordan las lecciones aprendidas y se exponen algunas recomendaciones hechas por los expertos. | es_CO |
