Resumen: | Como parte de un proceso investigativo en desarrollo, enfocado a la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la arquitectura, el presente artículo recoge algunas reflexiones sobre la labor de los docentes de Diseño Arquitectónico, disciplina ésta que se constituye como el eje central de la formación de arquitectos, partiendo de la premisa de que quienes se dedican a esta labor por regla general no poseen una formación pedagógica suficiente para su adecuado desempeño, aunque aprecian y aman verdaderamente la enseñanza y el ambiente académico. Se reflexiona aquí sobre algunos rasgos de personalidad del arquitecto en general, para luego intentar comprender ciertos perfiles de quienes se dedican a la docencia del diseño, caracterizando su labor desde algunas de sus actitudes humanas, pedagógicas y psicológicas, sin entrar a profundizar en ellas, sino mirándolas como simples manifestaciones externas de ciertos “estilos” que se han venido incrustando por tradición en la docencia del diseño, llamado también “taller de proyectos de arquitectura”. Abstract: | As part of developing a research process, focusing on teaching and learning of architecture, this article includes some reflections on the work of teachers in Architectural Design, this discipline which constitutes the core of architectural education based on the premise that those engaged in this work generally do not have sufficient pedagogical training for adequate performance, but truly appreciate and love of teaching and learning environment. We reflect here on some personality traits of the architect in general, then try to understand certain profiles of those involved in teaching design, characterizing his work from some of its human attitudes, pedagogical and psychological, without going deeper into them, but having seen them as mere external manifestations of certain “styles” that have been encrusted with tradition in design education, also called “architectural design studio.” |
