Resumen:	El desarrollo de este proyecto es una propuesta de aprovechamiento de los residuos sólidos orgánicos generados en el Conjunto Residencial La Colina ubicado en la ciudad de Sogamoso, del departamento de Boyacá; la recuperación de esta materia orgánica se realiza para la producción de abono orgánico y al mismo tiempo permite reducir el volumen de residuos domésticos que terminan en el relleno. De esta forma se contribuye a la preservación del ambiente, aportando beneficios como fertilizante que aporte nutrientes a las plantas y arbustos, la recuperación de los materiales reciclables y reducir el impacto de la entrada de residuos al relleno, mitigando las emisiones de gases con efecto invernadero que se ocasionan por el aumento de los residuos que llegan a este lugar.
Abstract:	The development of this project is a proposal for the use of organic solid waste generated in the La Colina Residential Complex located in the city of Sogamoso, in the department of Boyacá; The recovery of this organic matter is carried out for the production of organic fertilizer and at the same time reduces the volume of household waste that ends up in the landfill. In this way it contributes to the preservation of the environment, providing benefits as a fertilizer that provides nutrients to plants and shrubs, the recovery of recyclable materials and reducing the impact of the entry of waste into the landfill, mitigating greenhouse gas emissions that are caused by the increase in waste that comes to this place.
