Resumen: | En este documento se describió un material aislante utilizado para el control y disminución de niveles de ruido acústico, el cual está constituido por plástico reforzado con fibra de vidrio (PRFV). Además se realizó un análisis de impacto ambiental del material utilizando como análisis el ciclo de vida. A partir de esto, se seleccionó una resina plástica de poliéster teniendo en cuenta el espesor. Posteriormente, se describieron tres materiales alternativos a la fibra de vidrio como reforzantes en resinas de poliéster llamados plásticos reforzados con fibra natural (PRFN) en función de su aislamiento acústico y sus características de fibra natural. Estos fueron el Kenaf, Coco y Yute, los cuales se evaluaron con el fin de obtener el material con mayor coeficiente de reducción acústica. Finalmente se evaluaron los materiales mediante la metodología del estándar P5, en donde se categorizaron los impactos ambientales entre otros realizando un análisis comparativo y evaluando el material más óptimo. |
Abstract: | In this document the description of an insulating material used for the control and reduction of acoustic noise levels was developed, which is constituted by fiberglass reinforced plastic (GRP). In addition, an environmental impact analysis of the material was made using the life cycle as an analysis, from this, a polyester plastic resin was selected taking into account the thickness. Subsequently, three alternative materials to fiberglass are described as reinforcers in polyester resins called natural fiber reinforced plastics (NFRP) based on their acoustic insulation and their natural fiber characteristics. These were Kenaf, Coco and Jute. Whichever is evaluated using a frequency level to obtain the material with the highest acoustic reduction coefficient. Finally, the materials were evaluated using the P5 standard methodology, where the environmental impacts were categorized among others, making a comparative analysis and evaluating the most optimal material. |
