Resumen: | El artículo presenta la obtención de una resina alquídica utilizando anhídrido ftálico, glicerina y aceite de palma crudo, procedente de una muestra de Cumaral, Meta- Colombia, se realiza el proceso de formulación de la resina en función de la longitud del aceite, se determinan las condiciones de operación para las reacciones de alcohólisis y esterificación y se decide por una resina específica para obtenerla en un sistema de reacción que consta de un reactor en acero inoxidable con agitación y un sistema y control de calentamiento. Además, se analiza la variación en algunas condiciones de operación del reactor y el efecto de la resina alquídica obtenida en la elaboración de un esmalte. |
Abstract: | The article presents the preparation of an alkyd resin using phthalic anhydride, glycerin and crude palm oil proceeding of a sample from Cumaral, Meta- Colombia. The process of the resin’s formulation was performed in function of the oil length. The operational conditions were determined for the reactions of alcoholysis and esterification. The resin was also carried out in a reaction system, which consists of a stirred-stainless reactor with heat system and control, afterwards, some operational conditions were changed and the results evaluated. The resin obtained in the reactor was used in the preparation of enamel. |
