Resumen: | Debido a la creciente demanda y el consumo de la población en Colombia, actualmente en el procesamiento de los productos agrícolas se generan alrededor de 71.943.814 toneladas de biomasa residual al año entre la producción de café, maíz, arroz, banano entre otros. La inadecuada disposición final hace que estos residuos terminen en rellenos sanitarios o incinerados, ocasionando un impacto ambiental negativo directo en la naturaleza, provocando niveles de contaminación que afectan a todos los seres vivos, que está provocando lentamente la destrucción de la casa común donde habitamos. Por lo anterior, se debe tener en cuenta, que, en Colombia, la producción de café es el sector agrícola más relevante del país, en el que se produce al año aproximadamente 942.327 toneladas para comercializar , pero está provocando niveles de contaminación preocupantes, ya que el procedimiento del grano cosechado se realiza a través del beneficio húmedo para otorgarle aromas y sabores suaves, pero la pulpa de café como subproducto es el mayor contaminante. |
Abstract: | Due to the growing demand and consumption of the population in Colombia, Currently, in the processing of agricultural products, around 71,943,814 tons of residual biomass are generated per year between the production of coffee, corn, rice, and bananas, among others. The inadequate final disposal means that this waste ends up in sanitary landfills or incinerated, causing a direct negative environmental impact on nature, causing levels of contamination that affect all living beings, which is slowly causing the destruction of the common house where we live. Therefore, it should be taken into account that, in Colombia, coffee production is the most relevant agricultural sector in the country, in which approximately 942,327 tons are produced per year for commercialization, but it is causing worrying levels of contamination, since that the harvested bean process is done through wet milling to give it mild aromas and flavors, but the coffee pulp as a by-product is the biggest contaminant. |
