| Resumen: | El presente trabajo de grado se desarrolló con objetivo principal de examinar los estándares internacionales ASTM que justifican la biodegradación de plásticos oxo-biodegradables, de esta manera revisar teóricamente si las bolsas de plásticos de polietileno de baja densidad PEBD Oxo-Biodegradable cumplen con los resultados proporcionados por sus fabricantes, los cuales especifican que este no genera microplástico una vez desechado, disminuyendo así su acumulación en ecosistemas terrestres y acuáticos. |
| Abstract: | The present degree work was developed with the main objective of examining the ASTM international standards that justify the biodegradation of oxo-biodegradable plastics, in this way to theoretically review if the Oxo-Biodegradable LDPE low-density polyethylene plastic bags comply with the results provided. by its manufacturers, who specify that it does not generate microplastic once discarded, thus reducing its accumulation in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. |
