Resumen:	Suplir la necesidad actual del Déficit de vivienda para personas de recursos limitados se ha convertido en un tema de interés nacional, departamental y regional, este déficit se da en parte por la carencia de suelo habilitado para la construcción de vivienda, con la reglamentación y la infraestructura y servicios adecuados. El municipio de Sopó, no es la excepción respecto al déficit de Vivienda de Interés Social (VIS) y Vivienda de Interés Prioritario (VIP), la tierra habilitada en el municipio para la construcción de vivienda es muy costosa y la reglamentación actual no incentiva ni facilita la construcción de este tipo de viviendas.
Abstract:	Supplying the current need for the housing deficit for people with limited resources has become a topic of national, departmental and regional interest, this deficit is due in part to the lack of land enabled for housing construction, with the regulation and adequate infrastructure and services. The municipality of Sopó is not the exception regarding the deficit of Social Interest Housing (VIS) and Priority Interest Housing (VIP), the land set aside in the municipality for the construction of housing is very expensive and the current regulations do not encourage or facilitates the construction of this type of housing.
