| Resumen: | En los últimos años se ha evidenciado el crecimiento de la industria textil en Colombia y alrededor del mundo, impactando positivamente la dinámica de ocupación laboral y la economía de las ciudades. Sin embargo, el aumento de la producción y consumo de textiles ha desencadenado diversas problemáticas a nivel ambiental, desde el proceso de fabricación hasta el uso de las prendas, generando residuos posindustria y posconsumo, los cuales podrían ser reciclados o reutilizados, para aumentar la vida útil de estos productos. |
| Abstract: | In recent years, the textile industry has grown in Colombia and the world, positively impacting the dynamics of employment and the economy of cities. However, the increase in the production and consumption of textiles has triggered several environmental problems, from the manufacturing process to the use of the garments, generating post-industrial and post-consumer waste, which could be recycled or reused to increase the useful life of these products. |
