Resumen: | En este documento se plantea la posibilidad de reemplazar el permanganato de potasio en la industria textil como reductor de tono localizado para la creación de efectos de desgaste naturales en las prendas cuya base textil es el denim. Este proyecto busca reemplazar el permanganato de potasio de la industria textil en el área de lavanderías, debido a su alto grado contaminante y a los riesgos de salud que representa este producto al encontrarse en contacto con este por un tiempo prolongado. El permanganato de potasio es una sustancia ampliamente utilizada en la industria, tiene diversas aplicaciones como desinfectante, agente oxidante en el tratamiento de aguas, en la industria metalúrgica, farmacéutica, entre otras. Sin embargo, se ha encontrado información de los diferentes problemas a la salud que genera esta sustancia a largo plazo cuando se está expuesto un tiempo considerable, los riesgos de salud se encuentran asociados con el “Manganismo”. |
Abstract: | This document raises the possibility of replacing potassium permanganate in the textile industry as a localized tone reducer to create natural wear effects in garments whose textile base is denim. This project seeks to replace potassium permanganate from the textile industry in the laundry area, due to its high degree of contamination and the health risks that this product represents when in contact with it for a long time. Potassium permanganate is a substance widely used in industry, it has various applications as a disinfectant, oxidizing agent in water treatment, in the metallurgical and pharmaceutical industries, among others. However, information has been found on the different health problems that this substance generates in the long term when exposed for a considerable time, the health risks are associated with “Manganism”. |
