dc.description | The relationship between architecture and health has been the subject of study in recent years and it has been shown that the built environment can affect the health and well-being of patients. In particular, cancer patients are especially vulnerable to the negative effects of the hospital environment, which can affect their healing process. This thesis focuses on the potential of architecture to create healing spaces for cancer patients. The research focuses on how design can improve patient well-being and ultimately improve overall health outcomes. To achieve this, various design guidelines are explored that aim to improve the quality of hospital spaces and make patients feel more comfortable and safe. | spa |
| spa |
