Resumen: | En la búsqueda constante de fuentes de energía sostenibles y respetuosas con el medio ambiente, la generación de energía eléctrica a partir de celdas combustibles microbianas ha emergido como una prometedora alternativa. Este innovador enfoque aprovecha la actividad metabólica de microorganismos para convertir materia orgánica en electricidad, ofreciendo un método renovable y eficiente. A lo largo de este trabajo, exploraremos diversas alternativas en el proceso de generación de energía mediante celdas combustibles microbianas, evaluando comparativamente su eficiencia y destacando las ventajas y desventajas inherentes a cada enfoque. |
Abstract: | In the constant search for sustainable and environmentally friendly energy sources, the generation of electrical energy from microbial fuel cells has emerged as a promising alternative. This innovative approach harnesses the metabolic activity of microorganisms to convert organic matter into electricity, offering a renewable and efficient method. Throughout this work, we will explore various alternatives in the energy generation process using microbial fuel cells, comparatively evaluating their efficiency and highlighting the advantages and disadvantages inherent to each approach. |
