Resumen: | En este proyecto se realizó una caracterización mecánica de la fibra polimérica para reforzar concreto “polifibra” de POLYALTEC LTDA, el cual inició con la evaluación del estado actual de los concretos reforzados con fibras. Se seleccionó un diseño de mezcla de concreto de 210 kg/〖cm〗^3 (21 MPa), compuesto por grava de ¾ de pulgada, arena negra de cantera del Tolima y cemento tipo I marca Tequendama, el cual es utilizado para Cimientos, Placas o Losas, Columnas, Muros, Canales, Tanques y Pisos (trafico liviano). Se realizó un ensayo de resistencia de tensión a la “polifibra” para caracterizar el material que será utilizado como refuerzo de concreto. Por último se realizó una comparación del costo de fabricación de un concreto con malla electrosoldada, con un concreto reforzado con “polifibra” para identificar el menor costo de fabricación entre los dos concretos reforzados. |
Abstract: | In this project a mechanical characterization of the polymer fiber to reinforce POLYALTEC LTDA concrete was carried out, which began with the evaluation of the current state of concrete reinforced with fibers. A concrete mix design of 210 kg / 〖cm〗 ^ 3 (21 MPa), composed of ¾ inch gravel, Tolima quarry black sand and Tequendama type cement, which is used for foundations, Plates or Slabs, Columns, Walls, Channels, Tanks and Floors (light traffic). A tensile strength test was performed on the "polyfiber" to characterize the material that will be used as concrete reinforcement. Finally, a comparison was made of the manufacturing cost of a concrete with welded mesh, with reinforced concrete with "poly fiber" to identify the lowest manufacturing cost between the two reinforced concretes. |
