| Resumen: | La investigación ofrece un acercamiento conceptual sobre los daños generados al ecosistema de selva, originados por el modelo económico brasilero, los incentivos económicos dados al sector agrario, el proceso de deforestación, las prácticas de monocultivos, las obras de infraestructura y otros factores críticos e influyentes, todo esto resultado del fortalecimiento de una estructura económica basada en la expansión de la actividad agrícola, dejando de lado la protección de los recursos naturales. |
| Abstract: | Under Brazilian law, much of the Amazon is essentially an open access resource so there little incentive for squatters, farmers, or developers to use forest lands or resources in a sustainable manner. Perhaps the best way to address deforestation in Brazil is developing a new conservation policy based on the principle of sustainable use and development of rainforests. This article seeks to draw attention to Colombia; Our country faces an enormous challenge how to balance economic growth with the preservation of the Amazon rainforest and how to consider laws that restrict these practices to avoid loss of biodiversity. |
