| Resumen: | La presente investigación pretende mostrar cuál ha sido la incidencia del turismo como factor de crecimiento en un departamento que se ha consolidado como uno de los nuevos destinos que el país presenta a nivel internacional, con el objetivo de aprender cómo la economía se puede ir encaminando a un subsector de la economía regional que puede generar altos ingresos, pero sin dejar de lado el sector cafetero. Por tanto, en esta investigación se resaltará, el crecimiento económico y la actividad del turismo en el departamento del Quindío con el fin de identificar este sector como un potencial importante para el crecimiento y desarrollo económico. |
| Abstract: | This research aims to show what has been the incidence of tourism as a growth factor in a department that has become one of the new destinations that the country presents internationally, with the aim of learning how the economy can be heading towards a sub-sector of the regional economy that can generate high incomes, but without neglecting the coffee sector. Therefore, this research will highlight economic growth and tourism activity in the Quindío department in order to identify this sector as an important potential for economic growth and development. |
