Resumen: | El Río Magdalena es el afluente fluvial de mayor relevancia de transporte de carga y pasajeros en el país, debido a su expansión territorial y ubicación estratégica; por tal motivo es un eje importante en las actividades comerciales, especialmente de los municipios ribereños, ya que muchas familias dependen de él para movilizar su producción, la cual está basada en mayor proporción en elementos del sector primario desde alimentos como yuca, plátano, cacao, entre otros, hasta petróleo y sus derivados. En las últimas décadas el río ha presentado una situación de abandono, lo que ha causado una subutilización de las zonas portuarias, es por tal motivo que presenta la necesidad de realizar un proyecto de inversión en el que se realicen obras de mantenimiento en las zonas fluviales que presentan problemas ambientales como sedimentación o problemas de navegación, además de obras de construcción destinadas hacia algunos puertos específicos, que exhiben deterioro en su planta física. |
Abstract: | The Magdalena River is the most important fluvial road of bussiness and passengers transportation in the country, due to its territorial expansion and strategic location; For this reason it is an important axis in the commercial activities, especially of the riparian municipalities, since many families depend on him to mobilize their production, which is based in greater proportion in elements of the primary sector from foods like cassava, plantain, cacao , Among others, to oil and its derivatives. In the last decades the river has presented a situation of abandonment, which has caused an underutilization of the port areas, is for that reason that presents the necessity of realizing an investment project in which maintenance works are realized in the fluvial zones Which present environmental problems such as sedimentation or navigation problems, as well as construction works aimed at some specific ports, which exhibit deterioration in their physical plant. |
