Resumen: | En el presente trabajo de grado se realizaron una serie de simulaciones por medio del programa ANSYS con el fin de evaluar el desempeño de turbinas eólicas para el suministro de energía en zonas urbanas de Bogotá D.C. La turbina en concreto a evaluar es una tipo Darrieus vertical-helicoidal de 3 kW. La cual maneja un perfil NACA0021, con un diámetro de 1.05 metros, un total de 3 aspas y con un largo de cuerda de 100 mm. Adicionalmente se manejó una configuración del sistema ANSYS FLUENT con un solucionador basado en velocidad-presión, con un flujo estático, manejando el modelo rotacional MRF, con el algoritmo solucionador SIMPLE y un modelo de turbulencia k-ω. |
Abstract: | In the present degree work, a series of simulations were carried out through the ANSYS program in order to evaluate the performance of wind turbines for the supply of energy in urban areas of Bogotá D.C. The specific turbine to be evaluated is a 3 kW vertical-helical Darrieus type. Which handles a NACA0021 profile, with a diameter of 1.05 meters, a total of 3 blades and a rope length of 100 mm. Additionally, a configuration of the ANSYS FLUENT system was handled with a solver based on velocity-pressure, with a static flow, handling the MRF rotational model, with the SIMPLE solver algorithm and a k-ω turbulence model. |
