Resumen:	La escasez del recurso hídrico es una de las problemáticas más preocupantes a nivel mundial, puesto a que este como todos sabemos es un recurso necesario no solo para la vida humana, sino también para el desarrollo de un ecosistema en general. Se han evidenciado casos en los que la falta de agua potable provoca afectaciones a la salud de las personas y/o animales; esto debido a que las condiciones actuales sanitarias para el tratamiento y uso de aguas son ineficaces e insostenibles. Algunos sectores del mundo no cuentan con el acceso al recurso hídrico, ni siquiera para cubrir sus necesidades básicas, como lo son alimentarse, realizar deposiciones de desechos biológicos o tomar un baño. Gracias al mal uso de aguas potables se han detectado y/o encontrado enfermedades e infecciones que pueden ocasionar la muerte. Por este motivo se han abierto oportunidades para investigaciones que tienen como objetivo la búsqueda de proyectos innovadores que permitan alternativas para el acceso de agua potable y de uso doméstico para sectores que no tienen acceso a ellos.
Abstract:	The scarcity of water resources is one of the most worrying problems worldwide, since, as we all know, it is a necessary resource not only for human life, but also for the development of an ecosystem in general. There have been cases in which the lack of drinking water causes effects on the health of people and/or animals; This is because the current sanitary conditions for the treatment and use of water are ineffective and unsustainable. Some sectors of the world do not have access to water resources, not even to cover their basic needs, such as eating, removing biological waste or taking a bath. Thanks to the misuse of drinking water, diseases and infections that can cause death have been detected and/or found. For this reason, opportunities have been opened for research that aims to search for innovative projects that allow alternatives for access to drinking water and for domestic use for sectors that do not have access to them.
