dc.description | During the formation and development of the 21st century, massive expansion, informality and the presence of other types of urbanization have taken weight away from the formation of working-class neighborhoods that in part sought to respond to the productive needs of those times. The increasing acceleration of technological processes and the arrival of the information age have brought new jobs and the loss of others that previously seemed to be relevant to social development. Therefore, one of the questions to be asked is the creation and implementation of the contemporary working-class neighborhood, which maintains the struggles and ideas of the collective, forming a political and social infrastructure that helps think about the Latin American city in the future and that turns the architect into a mediator between formal and informal forces within dense and convulsive contexts and settlements like Latin Americans; adapting the neighborhood to a self-managed productive model that responds to current needs and means of production and that at the same time serves as a tool to democratize architecture hand in hand with our interaction with digital media and new ways of living and living together. | spa |
| spa |
