Resumen: | La inversión en infraestructura de transporte férreo ha estado limitada por las necesidades de la política preferencial hacia el transporte de carga por carretera. Mientras que el crecimiento económico demanda un incremento en la capacidad ofrecida del transporte de carga, el costo de éste se incrementa por causa de factores variables que inciden en los precios del sector productivo colombiano en el mercado nacional e internacional. El presente artículo, muestra un modelo que establece como otros países basan su competitividad en mejores sistemas de transporte. |
Abstract: | The railway transportation investment has been limited by the requirements of the road transportation policy preference; however the economic growth demands more capacity of freight transportation inside the country. The freight transportation cost arises because variable issues have influenced the Colombian productive segment related to the international market. This paper shows a model that other states and countries base their competitiveness on better transportation systems. |
