| Resumen: | En el transcurso de los más de 20 años de existencia del tratado de libre comercio de América del Norte, TLCAN, han sido muchos los desafíos que se han tenido que enfrentar al tratar de integrar dos economías altamente desarrolladas como lo son las economías de Canadá y Estados Unidos con una economía emergente como la mexicana. Se esperada que debido a la entrada de México a un proceso de integración económica con estas potencias, se produciría un acercamiento a estas economía al generarse flujo de capitales hacia México, intercambio de tecnología y de información, la cual ayudaría a reducir la brecha tecnológica y de desarrollo de México con sus vecinos del norte. |
| Abstract: | In the course of more than 20 years of existence of the North American Free Trade Agreement, NAFTA, there have been many challenges that have had to be faced when trying to integrate two highly developed economies such as Canada and United States economies with Mexican emerging economy. It was expected that due to the entry of Mexico into an economic integration process with these powers, there would be an approach to those economies due to the generation of capital flow to Mexico, technology and information exchange, which would help to reduce the technological and development gap between Mexico and its northern neighbors. |
