Resumen: | En la actualidad, el acceso a la educación superior es esencial, pero muchos estudiantes enfrentan desafíos financieros, llevándolos a incumplir con créditos educativos y ser reportados a centrales de riesgo. Esta tesis aborda la reincorporación de estos estudiantes al sistema financiero, no solo para proteger sus derechos financieros, sino también para promover la igualdad de oportunidades en la educación. El objetivo principal es diseñar una herramienta integral que facilite la reincorporación efectiva, considerando aspectos pedagógicos y modelos de riesgo financiero. La metodología incluye el análisis de ocho variables clave, como capacidad de pago, estrato socioeconómico y morosidad. Se utilizan modelos de análisis de riesgo adaptados a la población estudiantil colombiana. La investigación se enfoca en un enfoque cuantitativo y descriptivo, utilizando muestreo por selección intencionada. La población de estudio son individuos con créditos educativos del ICETEX en Colombia. |
Abstract: | Currently, access to higher education is essential, but many students face financial challenges, leading them to default on educational loans and be reported to risk centers. This thesis addresses the reintegration of these students into the financial system, not only to protect their financial rights, but also to promote equal opportunity in education. The main objective is to design a comprehensive tool that facilitates effective reintegration, considering pedagogical aspects and financial risk models. The methodology includes the analysis of eight key variables, such as payment capacity, socioeconomic stratum and delinquency. Risk analysis models adapted to the Colombian student population are used. The research focuses on a quantitative and descriptive approach, using purposive selection sampling. The study population is individuals with educational credits from ICETEX in Colombia. |
